With 50+ years experience managing & growing leading international brands across multiple industries & geographies, our leadership team brings a truly global perspective, deep operational knowledge and a proven track record of delivering results.
Before founding unbound, Rob was the global head of brand marketing & communications at Rosewood Hotel Group where he was instrumental in expanding the brand’s presence globally with a particular focus on Asia & China. Previously, Rob was the global head of marketing for The Peninsula Hotels – overseeing branding, advertising, communications, CRM, digital marketing & eCommerce. Rob has also spent 15+ years in Europe & North America – lastly with LVMH as the global marketing director for De Beers Diamond Jewellers; he has also worked for American Express & Candy & Candy in London as well as Monitor Group in New York.
Fluent in English, French, Cantonese and conversant in German & Mandarin, Rob graduated magna cum laude from Brown University & Sciences Po (Paris) and has an MBA with distinction from INSEAD.
With various senior creative agency roles in Europe & Asia, he was the Senior Art Director with the international creative team at Publicis Hong Kong before joining Plaza Premium Group (Airport Lounges, Transit Hotels and Airport F&B) as the Head of Design, where he managed the in-house team of art directors, graphic designers, copywriters and producers.
He is also the founder of >> creative directions, a hub for creatives and likeminded people to help brands and businesses grow, get strategically placed and socially engaged through art, campaigns, branding, photography, digital marketing, events planning and graphic design.
